Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Book Week at school is a fun time when students celebrate stories by dressing up as their favourite book characters. It helps everyone enjoy reading and sparks creativity through costumes and activities.
At Greenethorpe Public School we believe that swimming is an important life skill that helps keep us safe in and around water. Our school encourages all students to participate in swimming activities to build confidence and improve their abilities. By learning to swim, we develop both physical fitness and essential safety skills for life.
Excursions are important because they help students learn better by doing activities related to what they study in class. They also let students try new things outside of school lessons and make friends. Excursions are good for students’ wellbeing because they encourage learning beyond the classroom.
